The Cary Center for CranioSacral Therapy is dedicated to promoting optimal health and wellness in children and adults through the use of CranioSacral Therapy (CST). Conditions addressed through CST are wide-ranging, such as: brain and spinal cord trauma, autism spectrum disorders, chronic pain, migraine headaches, cerebral palsy and stress.
Tad Wanveer
Tad Wanveer, LMBT, CST-D is an expert in the field of CranioSacral Therapy (CST). He is a certified CST practitioner, certified instructor of CST, and was a staff clinician at the Upledger Institute. Tad worked closely with John Upledger, D.O., O.M.M. which deeply shaped Tad’s understanding of the human body and the application of CST.
Classes
Tad Wanveer, LMBT, CST-D is certified by the Upledger Institute to teach numerous levels of CranioSacral Therapy, such as: CS1, CS2, and Clinical Applications.
Tad has designed three new CranioSacral Therapy classes which he will begin teaching in 2013 through the Upledger Institute.
In Motion DVD
In Motion, created by Tad Wanveer, LMBT, CST-D, is a DVD set showing the craniosacral system, different body parts, and the body as a whole moving in response to the craniosacral rhythm. It is a collection of 90 animated short movies that shows through movement the dynamic effect the craniosacral rhythm has upon the body as a whole.
Tad is the author and illustrator of Brain Stars. He uses an abundance of images along with words to convey the essential interworking of neurons, glia, vasculature, and the craniosacral system. New research shows that glial cells are essential partners of neurons in nearly every aspect of CNS development, function, homeostasis, healing, and pathology.
Glial cells form an interconnected matrix throughout the entire central nervous system that is fused to the craniosacral system. Tad provides a model in which this interconnection helps to explain how craniosacral therapy reaches into the central nervous system to facilitate improved health and function.
