Tad Wanveer, LMBT, CST-D is certified by the Upledger Institute to teach numerous levels of CranioSacral Therapy. Tad teaches nationally and internationally for the Upledger Institute as well as teaches a number of classes in Cary, North Carolina such as Clinical Applications and Review classes.
Class Descriptions
CranioSacral Therapy Review Classes
Course Length: 9AM-5PM
Synopsis: An abundance of material is presented and practiced in the CranioSacral Therapy (CST) classes. The review class provides the practitioner with a one-day class in which all of the material from the class is reviewed and practiced. It is an excellent opportunity to clarify questions that arise as you take the class material into the clinical setting.
Currently there are review classes for the CSTI and CSTII levels.
Each class is a wonderful way to:
- Review the material,
- Practice and solidify CST technique,
- Discuss clinical applications of the techniques, and
- Work with a leading expert in the field of CranioSacral Therapy.
Clinical Applications Classes
Synopsis: Dr. Lisa Upledger developed the clinical applications classes as a way for CranioSacral Therapy (CST) practitioners to:
- Refine and broaden palpation skills,
- Deepen understanding of the CranioSacral System and its role in health and disease,
- Increase the understanding of CST concepts,
- Expand upon the clinical applications of CST,
- Have the time to address your individual questions,
- Work with an expert in the field.
The classes are limited to four students and are held in an informal clinical setting.
Clinical Application of CST
Course Length: 5 days
Course Highlights:
- Hone your expertise in blending with clients by learning to better understand and read their body needs.
- Fine-tune your palpatory capabilities.
- Develop mouth-work skills (a good preparation for SER).
- Review whole-body evaluation, energy cyst location and release, facilitated segments, fascial glide, dural tube techniques, the 10-Step Protocol, and arcing.
- Gain insights to using your time and energy most efficiently.
- Review the material of your choice.
- Participate in in-depth group discussions with your colleagues.
- Build confidence and skills in preparation for certification in CranioSacral Therapy.
Prerequisite: CSII
Clinical Application of CST & SomatoEmotional Release
Course Length: 5 days
Synopsis: CASR is a practicum developed by Lisa Upledger, DC, to help SomatoEmotional Release-trained practitioners sharpen their CST and SER skills. Classes are limited to just four participants, and are held in an informal clinical setting at The Cary Center for CranioSacral Therapy, LLC. in Cary, North Carolina.
Course Highlights:
- Hone your expertise in blending with clients by learning to better understand and read their body needs.
- Fine-tune your palpatory capabilities.
- Review the SER process, including locating and releasing energy cysts.
- Learn more about integration of therapeutic imagery and dialogue.
- Delve deeper into vector/axis integration and alignment, meridians and chakras.
- Practice each position involved in multiple-hands sessions including that of lead therapist.
- Gain insights to using your time and energy most efficiently.
- Review the material of your choice.
- Participate in in-depth group discussions with your colleagues.
- Build confidence and skills in preparation for certification in CranioSacral Therapy.
Prerequisite: SERI
Clinical Application Of Advanced CranioSacral Therapy
Course Length: 5 days
Course Highlights:
- Hone your expertise in blending with clients by learning to better understand and read their body needs.
- Fine-tune and further develop your palpatory capabilities.
- Delve deeper into body/mind integration.
- Practice each position involved in multiple-hands sessions including that of lead therapist.
- Gain insights to using your time and energy most efficiently.
- Review the material of your choice.
- Participate in in-depth group discussions with your colleagues.
Prerequisite: ADVI or SomatoEmotional Release II
